Relevant Experience:
I am currently the secretary and I have been for four years. This year if elected again, I will be going into my 5th year. I was also treasurer for one year.

Length in Suburban Estates:
My first time in suburban was in 1999. The following year I married my husband Clancy. He has owned property in Suburban since the 1970’s. Since then, we have purchased more lots.

SEPA Member Time:
I am not sure how long I have been a SEPA member but, it has been several years. Back in the day, John Smith and I did the poker runs. He was the one who taught me how to do poker runs.

Served on Board:
I have been on the board of officers for four years. A total of five years if you count the year that I did as treasurer (which wasn’t consecutive).

About Myself:
A little history of me is that I have been an American Legion Auxiliary member for 30 years. I have held the following titles – District President, Unit President, Secretary, Treasurer and Sgt. at Arms. I am also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and that has been for about 30 years. This year I am treasurer. I love veterans and advocating for them.

Why I am Running:
I am again currently running for Secretary. I gave my notice to resign earlier this month, mostly due to frustration. Since then, I have been flooded with emails and Facebook postings asking me to not resign. I have decided to stay on board and run for secretary again.

Goals during the Next 2 Years:
The only goal I have is to be the best secretary for SEPA and try to get more people involved in our club. We could have a better club with more people involved and participating in meetings and events. I also think we should have a newsletter informing members of events within Suburban Estates.
