Relevant prior board/committee/volunteer experience:
I started as vice president quite a few years back, and then stepped into the president role for a term or two. Functioned as past president for a year and a half, then stepped into the president position again when Syme stepped down. Was voted president by general consensus two years ago. head of all committees, of course. Been involved in numerous projects and the betterment of Suburban estates overall. Headed the project going against the highway being proposed to be put in the middle of Suburban estates. Currently handling litigation against the churches/Zach for extortion on our property.

25 or so years

How long have you been a SEPA member?
Like 10 or 15. Not Sure

If the position is an officer position, how long have you served on the board?
I’ve always been an officer. Never been a Director. This was prior to our current bylaws. Quite some time.

About Yourself (100-200 words):
pretty outgoing. I would say the one thing that might make me a distinctive difference between other people that have run for this position is that I don’t make Suburban estates my wallet. I don’t buy or sell land, I don’t do anything for profit. Anything and everything I’ve ever done I do because I love the land and I love the people. I’m lucky enough to be generally retired. You could ask anyone whoever wanted to contact me or ever has contacted me. I always answer the phone and I work on getting to a solution.

Why are you running?
For the betterment of Suburban estates. To do my very best to protect it against bad elements.

What are your goals during your two year term?
Clearly to win the litigation against the extortion at the front gate and if successful set up, surveillance cameras in the parking lot with full-time power and get this all streaming through our website. Additionally, continue to streamline the road committees, and improve our lot for meetings and events.
